Hi, my name is Vicky Hendrikz and I am a new and very passionate filmaker

Since I was a young child I loved movies and stories. I started making stop motion movies from 12 and have had a YouTube channel since I was 14 years old.

I am a child of God and believe this is what I was made to do with God's help. I love to learn and hope to continue growing my skills and business.

I am always keen for projects of any size and love to work with people and want to help them achieve their vision.

Recently made a documentary style series of videos celebrating for Kanonkop Wine Estate. Showcasing their Terroir, Winemaking and Heritage

At the end of last year I was asked to film a short doc style video about training4changeS, a ngo that uses sport as a catalyst for holistic community transformation and to equip young leaders. We tell the story of Nakhane and Earl, 2 metric boys who have been there since grade 1 and how it has changed their lives.

This is one of my favorite projects ever

2023

In 2023 Andre Venter and I decided to compete in a 48h Film race hosted by Garden Route Media. We ended up winning the first prize in the professional category and is something I am still very proud of.

Since then I have entered more short film competitions (with various degrees of success). You can check some of them out in my Portfolio!

Weddings

I also love filming weddings. Trying to capture the day as authentic as possible, and not take time or focus away from the actual event :)
